Donna’s parents provided Donna with an opportunity to attend her grades 10, 11, and 12 at Leipzig Convent graduating in 1961, followed by attending Saskatoon Teacher’s College earning her a Teacher’s certificate. From there Donna taught at Watson, SK and Landis Elementary School, SK. Interestingly enough, having her youngest brother Ken in her classroom. She was determined enough to take swimming lessons and learn to swim with her family. Mom attended church faithfully, was actively involved in all church activities and enjoyed teaching catechism. She enjoyed curling, bowling, sewing, playing bridge, card and board games, camping, fishing, picnics, days at the beach, cross country skiing, boating and water tubing. Mom participated and loved everything that was of interest to her and family and friends.
