Neville Johnson Obituary

Neville was born Oct 30 1945 in Beaver MB to Vi and Norman Johnson.

He attended a one room country school in Beaver until grade 5. The family moved to Carberry where he finished the remainder of his schooling.

He had a few friends but liked doing things on his own.  He loved the outdoors, camping and being with nature. He was a dedicated member of the Boy Scouts achieving the honour of Queen Scout in 1961.

Neville was very clever. He had a love of learning and achieved a degree in business management from the U of M and a diploma in Accounting.  His interests were many.

He married at 21, lived and worked in Winnipeg as a business form designer and had 3 children.  Melanie, Roxana and Vincent.

Life was a struggle with a difficult divorce, depression, alcoholism and strained relationships.

He became a resident of the Carberry PCH in 2007.  There he found a new lease on life. He found his love of God, his treasured Bible studies and the care home cat Scooby.  He learned to crochet and donated many afghans to Project Linus. Handing out werthers candies brought him great joy.

Predeceased by his father, mother, his sister Marjorie and her husband Ralph Zimmer.

Left to mourn, Melanie (Larry) Schenkeveld, Cody (Kayla), Hunter (Sabrina),Tyson, Tyra Tegan.

Roxana Bray, Tanner, Harley, Hayley

Vincent (Jackie), Carter, Cooper

His niece Rhonda (Joaness).

His care home family and many friends.

Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations❤

***Thank you to White's Funeral Home for the arrangements.  To Will and Joel for officiating and always being there for Neville. To the ladies for the lunch.
