Brian Bird aka Beaver

April 6, 1959 ~ May 25, 2022 (age 63)

Brian Bird also known to many as “Beaver” passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 25, 2022 at the Erickson Personal Care Home at the age of 63 years.

Brian was born in Grandview on April 6, 1959 to parents Joseph and Charity Bird.

Brian loved to joke around and laugh with all his family and friends.  He always had a smile on his face, which we all will miss.  He loved traveling and visiting with his brothers and sisters, making puzzles and watching his favorite game shows.  Brian can be described as a man who was larger than life and always had a sincere, cheerful greeting for everyone he met.  He will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Brian Jr., Melanie, Evan, Nicole, and Charisma. Step children Destiny, Jeremy and Kyle.  Brothers Gordon and Thomas.  Sisters Pearl, Marciel, Mary, Lucy, Agnes and Dora.

Brian was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Charity Bird, his partner Lucy Sutherland. Brothers Nelson and Alvin.  Sisters Doris, Geraldine, Yvonne, Bonnie and Lena.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Erickson Personal Care Home and the staff at Southquill Health Centre for their care and compassion and to Chief and Council of Rolling River First Nation.
