Dad was born in Tayport, Scotland and passed away in Neepawa, MB. Predeceased by parents William and Allison, wife Georgina (nee Gelhorn), and siblings Eric and Allison. He is survived by sons Peter (Karen) and Ian, sisters Rona, Phyllis, and many nieces/nephews. Retired Sargent Black Watch Scottish Regiment 1951-1958, accomplished Gold Seal Carpenter for over 50 years, and Vice President Kelsey Construction Ltd. Operated Thomson’s Solo store, Kelwood, MB with Georgina for 11 years. Retired in Kelwood, staying active in the community and selflessly volunteering his time and knowledge to anyone in need. Following Georgina’s passing in 2014, Bruce stayed in Kelwood until his health required a move to Neepawa. The world lost a proud Scottish Canadian and devoted husband and father. Bruce lit up every room with his charming Scottish accent and charismatic nature, bringing joy and kindness to all he met.
A service will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Kelwood Community Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Recreation Dept, Country Meadows PCH, Neepawa MB
