Catherine "Cathy" Gail Harrigan

Catherine “Cathy” Harrigan of Dauphin, Mb passed away July 19, 2026, at the Minnedosa Health Centre at the age of 70 years.

Cathy was born in Dauphin, Mb to Verna & Martin Harrigan. She attended school there, from elementary to high school where she graduated from the Dauphin Regional Comprehensive Secondary School. After graduation, Cathy worked in clerical and administrative roles in different locations as far as BC, Saskatchewan and back home in Dauphin. She was known as being hard working and never shied away from a challenge. Cathy loved animals and had many pets over her lifetime. Gardening became a favourite past time in later years. She was dearly loved by her family and her nieces & nephews who always looked forward to spending time with “Aunty Cathy”.

She was predeceased by her parents Martin & Verna Harrigan. Cathy is survived by her sister Patty (Neil) MacDiarmid; brother Jim (Barb) Harrigan; brother Jack (Val) Harrigan and their families.

If friends so desire, memorial donations in Cathy’s memory may be made to Parkland Humane Society or Minnedosa Palliative Care Service.

A private family gathering will take place later this year.
