Darwin George McCurry passed away in the midst of his family and friends at his parents’ home in Keyes, Manitoba on March 27, 2021 at the age of 41 years, 8 months, and 2 days.
Darwin was born in Gladstone, Manitoba, July 25, 1979 the fourth child of Terence (Terry) and Marlene McCurry. He married Cindy Biel of Brandon and lived in Neepawa until a tragic traffic accident took her. Darwin raised their son Micheal living in Neepawa until the last three years when he moved back home to farm with his Dad.
Darwin always liked adventure, trikes, quads, and doing construction work.
Left to mourn are his sons Micheal and Daniel, his best friend Ashley Nelson of Neepawa, his parents Terence and Marlene of Keyes, brothers Scott, and Conrad, his Grandmother Irene McClay of Neepawa, his in laws Colin and Linda Biel of Brandon, sister in law Colleen of Brandon and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
Darwin was predeceased by brothers Jason, Steven, Grandmother Margaret McCurry, Grandfather Hector McClay, and Uncles.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, Staff of Neepawa Hospital, Palliative Care staff, and to the M. A. I. D. Team for their support that helped in any way. Their time spent with our son and their kindness shown to Darwin and to our family will not be forgotten.
A wake was held at his home in Keyes Friday to Sunday.
A private service will take place with interment in the Riverside Cemetery, Neepawa, MB.
