Elizabeth "Lizzie" Yakiwchuk

Elizabeth Yakiwchuk, known to friends and family as Liz entered into rest on May 6, 2020 in the Gladstone Hospital at the age of 100 years. She was born to Joe and Mary Kasprick on November 12, 1919 in Elk Ranch, MB and at the age of 6 moved to Polonia (Huns Valley). She completed her education and went to work at Harris Farms. She met Paul at one of the dances in 1936 and then later married and had two sons, Ralph and Bob. They were married for 63 years until Paul passed away in 1999. She was predeceased by her son Bob (Cheryl). She will be remembered by son Ralph (Mae), grandchildren Aileen (Dale), John (Michelle}, Kenneth (Jen), David (Becky) and five great grandchildren. Elizabeth will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. We will miss her kind gentle demeanour, love for her family, gardening and great cooking.
