Florence Gertrude Carter

Florence Carter, beloved wife of Murray Carter, passed away into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on June 5, 2026 at the age of 91. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Minnedosa Evangelical Covenant Church, 101-4th Av. SW in Minnedosa, Manitoba.

Florence was born October 3rd 1934 in Edgar, Wisconsin, and was raised in Upper Michigan. In 1961 she moved to India to serve God with TEAM. There she met her husband, Murray, also serving with TEAM in India. They were married in 1964 and had two children, Laura and Annette. They continued to serve in India until 1979, and then in Italy from 1981 to 2004, when they retired and settled in Minnedosa.

Florence served God faithfully throughout her life and leaves a rich legacy of faith and integrity. A strong prayer warrior and a woman of noble character, she quietly touched many people's lives in profound and enduring ways. She is survived by her husband, Murray, her two daughters, Laura Verderame (John) and Annette Ford (Stephen), five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
