Frederick Charles Stonehouse

Fred Stonehouse of Minnedosa, MB passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 83 years, at the Minnedosa Personal Care Home where he was a resident for 5 months. 

Fred was born on November 5, 1937 in the R.M. of Albert, MB to Fred and Mary Stonehouse.

He attended a one room school  and later Reston Collegiate.  After that he took over the family farm until his retirement in 2005 and moved to Minnedosa, MB.

He married Hazel Adams on July 1, 1961 and together they raised two children son Perry and daughter Tannis. 

Fred is predeceased by his sisters Lauree Polwarth and Eleanor Henderson.

He is survived by his wife Hazel, son Perry (Denise) Stonehouse, daughter Tannis (Dan) Arychuk and their families, also sister Mary Lynn.

A private service was held at Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Restson, MB with Fr. Chad McCharles officiating.   Interment followed in the Reston Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Brittany Stonehouse, Bryan Stonehouse, Perry Stonehouse, Brad Henderson, Barry Henderson, Cody Gallant.
