James "Jamie" Wade Obituary

It is with profound sadness that the family announce the passing of Jamie Wade.

Jamie was born in Minnedosa Manitoba, lived in Uranium City Saskatchewan, Kimberley B.C and then moved back to the family farm by Basswood and graduated from Minnedosa Collegiate.

After Graduation he went into the workforce and found his passion for cars. He received his level four certified mechanics licence and began a career as a mechanic.

His first love was a 1968 Ford Galaxie, which he fully restored.

Jamie worked at a number of businesses: Heritage Co-op , Canadian Tire , Fairway Ford, Piston Ring and most recently Wesman Salvage.

He loved animals, especially his black lab Cindy, and his basset hound Emmett.

Jamie enjoyed bowling, and demolition derby’s, where he received many awards and trophies over the years. He also enjoyed fishing and owned many collections including movies, coins, and cars.

Jamie was always generous with his time when it came to others, he was always helping family and friends with their vehicles, or anything else they needed help with.

Jamie was predeceased  by parents Albert and Alice Wade, grandparents Arthur and Charolette Wade, Jim and Gunhild Bold, Uncle Allan Bold, Uncle George Wade, Aunt Barb Wade and cousin Darcy Kowalick.

Jamie will be deeply missed by sister Brenda (Mike), nephew Dustin ( Hollie) their daugher Lucy, nephew Marshall, and niece Kiley. Uncle Walter and Aunt Evelyn, Uncle Jack and Aunt Esther, cousins Gina (Earl), Lisa (Randy), Alvin ( Patti ), Blaine ( Taresa) and Darryl.

We wish to express our most sincere gratitude to all who helped find Jamie.

Rest in peace Jamie, your smile, kindness, and generous heart will never be forgotten.
