Joyce Eliza Cameron was born in the Empire district on may 31, 1934 to Walter and Annie Kingdon. Raised on the farm along with brother Art, and twins Arnold and Ken. She later moved to Minnedosa where she worked until she married Donald Grant Cameronin July 1957 moving to the Moore Park area where they farmed and raised their family. Survived by her children Cheryl, Kevin, Kenneth and his wife Debbie, and her grand children and great grandchildren. Once the kids were all in school she returned to work. She retired from the coop store after 20+ years. Joyce was involved in many community events, volunteering whenever she could with a warm smile and helping hand. In the summertime she could be found at the family cottage at Minnedosa beach which was always open for visits from family and friends. A few years after retirement she sold the farm and moved to Minnedosa where she lived until her passing on June 23, 2026.
