It is with shock and great sadness we announce the passing of Kelvin Dennis Zechowski on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 59 years, with his wife, nephew Cody Sibbald and dear friends Steve and Crystal by his side.

Kelvin was born on July 21, 1965, in Brandon, MB to Gordon and Linda Zechowski. Kelvin had lived in Brandon and Red Lake, Ont. until the age of 7. Then they moved to Riding Mountain, MB where Kelvin attended Kelwood school until the age of 16. After quitting school, he went to work with his brother cleaning corrals. This is where he met his wife, Maggie. They returned to Manitoba in 1995 to reside in Birnie, MB. Kelvin remained in forestry, primarily working in Alberta. After the passing of his nephew Darius Zechowski, Kelvin once again went to work with his brother hauling asphalt for 5 years. In 2016 Kelvin returned to forestry up in the Roblin/Swan River area, this is where he held his employment until his passing.
