Lois Marilyn Topping

Lois Marilyn Topping passed away suddenly at her residence in Minnedosa Manitoba, on October 18th, 2024. She was born in Fort Frances Ontario, August 13th 1948 to Helen and William Hickerson. She was the youngest of 10 children. Lois completed her schooling in Fort Frances Ontario and later traveled to Toronto, Ontario for a year. While there she met John Topping and they were married in 1972. They lived briefly in Brandon before moving to Winnipeg where their daughter Sheryl was born in 1974.  In 1985 Lois moved to Minnedosa.
Lois is survived by brother Frank Hickerson, sisters Florence Kemp and Donna (Willie) Opie, Mabel Hickerson and Faye Hickerson. Daughter Sheryl Bone (Harold). Grandchildren Austin (Megan) Savannah and step grandchildren Conrad (Samantha) Great-grandchildren, Abby, Sage, step great grandchildren Victoria , Lily, Ayvah and Hannah.
Lois was pre-deceased by her parents, siblings and in-laws, Horace Hickerson, Jessie ( Merlin) Enge, Irene (Felix) Alex, Bill (Elaine) Hickerson, Ed Hickerson, Shirley (Les )Ford, Frieda Hickerson, and Murray Kemp.
She loved her many nieces and nephews, with special nephews Bill and Edward and their spouses who held a special spot in her heart, more as brothers than nephews.
She will always be remembered by her daycare kids and many friends.
A Celebration of Life is being held Saturday November 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
