Megan Alaine Hedley-Brown of Minnedosa MB passed away July 30th 2019 at the age of 22 years. Megan was born in Minnedosa on October 1st 1996 to her loving parents Jennifer Brown & Trent Hedley and her big sister Kristen. From an early age she had a spark that couldn’t be contained, always using her infectious smile to brighten any room. She attended school in Minnedosa where she was constantly surrounded by friends, family and the community. She spent many years dancing, playing soccer & getting into countless shenanigans. From navigating many family road trips, to backpacking South America & exploring Greece the travel bug has always been with Megan. She then headed to Brandon University to discover which path life was going to take her down next. Throughout this journey she found a passion for photography and her sweet puppy Mongo who brought her much comfort, joy and endless love throughout the last year and a half. With her friends, family and especially Mongo by her side Megan put everything she had into fighting her inner battles. She is now at peace and survived by; her Mom Jennifer Brown, Father Trent Hedley & Step-mother Lesley Hedley. Her two sisters Kristen & Brooklyn, and her brother Carter, along with an endless amount of family & friends. A private family interment will take place in the Basswood Cemetery and a Celebration of her Life will take place Monday, August 5, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the Minnedosa Ag Barn, White’s Funeral Home was in care of arrangements. In Lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be sent to the Westman Crisis Services who helped Megan through many battles or the Brandon Humane Society.
