Noela Faith Fleury

Noela Faith Fleury of Minnedosa, Manitoba passed away December 3, 2025 at the Minnedosa Hospital  at the age of 65 years surrounded by her family.

Noela lived life on her terms, she brought laughter, kindness and love to all who knew her.  Noela worked for many years at Chicken Delight in Minnedosa.  Later she moved to Thompson, Manitoba and was well known for her painting skills which included commercial and residential.  She worked at the Home Depot for a few years before moving to Clanwilliam then returning home to Minnedosa.  Noela was an avid gardener and was happiest being outside with her plants and nature.  She loved to travel with her companions to camp and fish and travelled to many great spots across Manitoba.  Noela loved a good adventure and was a great sport to deal with whatever came her way during her adventures.  She always had a great story to tell when she got home, sometimes so funny she couldn’t get the words out.

Noela was an early riser and would often be sitting outside with a coffee and a cigarette watching the sun rise.  She loved to go the legion and visit with friends and family.  She loved the color yellow, the Winnipeg Jets and especially goalie Hellebuyck.  Noela suffered many hardships in her life and suffered with many health problems, but her resolve to overcome or deal with the situations was a testament to her inner strength. 

Noela is survived by her siblings: Georgina (Rick), Mona (Roger), Keith (Elizabeth), Iris (Alex), Darcy (Carolina), Connie (Glen), Rose (Robert), Bernadette (Harry), Barbara, and her step-daughters - Michelle and Lori.  She has one remaining Aunt from her mother’s side of the family. Auntie Noela was cherished by 46 nieces and nephews as well as 53 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great nephew. Her love extended far and wide and included many furry friends.

Noela was predeceased by her parents Edith and George (Buster) Fleury, brothers George and John and numerous aunts and uncles from both sides of her family.

Noela’s funeral service was held on December 9, 2025 at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Minnedosa with Decon Conrad officiating.  Internment followed in the Minnedosa Cemetery.

Pallbearers were:  Jason Liberty, Terry DeMontigny, Tammy Fleury, Jessica Fleury, Keith Smith and Darcy Fleury.

Honorary Pallbearers were: Jotaro Fleury, Renno Fleury, Alex DeMontigny, Sophie Fleury.

The family extends thanks to Dr. Onyshko, Dr. Brackenreed and Dr. Elgheriani for their dedicated service in Noela’s care.   To the nurses and the incredible Health Care Aides and staff from the PCH who provided exceptional care and friendship to Noela during her time with you – Thank You!
