Norma Feser (Suski) was born at the Neepawa District Hospital on May 29th, 1954 to parents Alfred and Doris Suski.
She attended school in Arden, MB and was in elementary when her parents moved to Erickson. Norma finished high school at Erickson Collegiate and following graduation she moved to Winnipeg, where she lived until her passing.
Norma worked in the office of Tan Jay in Winnipeg before deciding to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing degree and during her practicum worked at Health Science Centre in the ER department. After her B.N. graduation she took additional schooling to become an ER nurse. She became an Assistant Head Nurse in the ER department at Health Science Centre until her health took her to an early retirement.
Norma loved all kinds of music! Everything from Bob Dylan, The Beatles, to Randy Travis, and Savage Garden. Whenever anyone would phone and talk to her and ask what she was doing, the answer was always “listening to music”. She always loved watching awards shows like the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, and the Emmy’s, especially for the beautiful gowns and clothing. She was a very stylish dresser herself, no matter whether at home or out in public.
Norma loved coming to Bethany to stay and visit family. Christmas was also very special to her, as she got to spend time with extended family and enjoy the traditional dishes prepared. Although she didn’t live close by, Norma never missed acknowledging her family’s birthdays with a phone call, and almost always a card as well.
Norma was predeceased by her father Alfred Suski, mother Doris Suski (Johnson), and brother Doug Suski. She is survived by her sisters Wendy (Larry) Spraggs, Donna (Jim) Woloshen, nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed.
