Oralee Curtis Obituary

Peacefully with her family by her side Oralee passed away on June 6, 2026

at the age of 51 years.

Left to mourn her loss, and cherish the memories are her husband Bart, and daughters Sidney and Lettie, along with her mother Velma Molberg.  Her siblings brother Dean (Jen) and sister Raquel, sister in law Kelly (Jordan), nephews Hunter, Everett and niece Madeline.   Also some of the best cousins, aunts, uncles and father in law Dennis Pearson.

She was predeceased by her dad Mac Molberg, mother in law Debbie Pearson;  grandparents Orlyn and  Doreen Von Bargen and Wilbert and Anne Molberg.

Oralee had a zest for life and installed that same value in her girls.  She and Bart were members of the Muay Thai Kickboxing Association and fought competitively.   When she retired she was first in Canada, second in North America and eighth in the world.

Her daughters were her greatest treasures.   She and Bart were active in all their endeavours.  Many hours were spent running to dance practices and competitions, hockey practices, games and tournaments among many other activities.

Oralee and Bart were active with Dominican orphanages, they made several trips with supplies and expertise to get things running.  She loved animals, especially dogs and is well recognized as a foster face.   She was forever a big kid at heart.

Oralee had her education degree but chose instead to dispatch for 911 for 20+ years where she formed everlasting friendships with many of her co workers.

Oralee’s was a busy well lived life until illness clipped her wings.  Even then she preserved and fought with everything in her power to survive.  She was a woman of faith.

Her absence is palpable and her love and life lessons will remain in our hearts forever.

In accordance with Oralee’s wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

Oralee’s family wishes to thank the community for all the support, food, messages, flowers, and love during this difficult time.
