Ronald Delbert Hodgson

With his family by his side, Ron Hodgson of Minnedosa, MB passed away peacefully on January 11th, 2024 at Brandon General Hospital at the age of 80 years.  

Ron was predeceased by his wife Kay, sister Marilyn, his Mom and Dad and Kay’s parents, Gerri’s mom and sister.  

Surviving are his wife Gerri and their combined families including Ron’s daughter Diane (Terry), their son Andrew (Staci), Eric and Ethan, and their daughter, Dayna (Travis), Jaixon, Zander and Taitym.  He’s also survived by Ron’s son Norman (Lorraine), their daughter Nicole (Michael), Maverick and their son Sean (Tawny).  As well as, Ron’s son Stephen (Brandi) and their son Michael (Kayla), Levi, Talia and their daughter Victoria.

Ron is also survived by Gerri’s children including Gerri’s son Andrew (Tanya) Taylor, Grady, Luke and Rebekah, daughter Heather, daughter Erin (Arron) Ashton, Julie, daughter Kellie (Lyle) Jordan, Josh, Christian, daughter Carrie (Dale) Kate, Will and son Ryan.

Together, Ron was very proud to have 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are Ron’s brothers, Clarence and Lowell and sisters, Eileen, Linda, Verla, Mavis and their families.

The funeral service will be held on Jan. 27, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Valley Life Family Worship Centre  52-2nd Ave. SW in Minnedosa, MB. 

 Interment will follow at a later date.  

If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to  the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Valley Life Family Worship Centre.
