A Celebration of Life for Rose Alice Labuik will be held on June 06 th at 11:00 am in Neepawa Manitoba at St Dominic’s Catholic Church on First Street.
Rose Alice Labuik nee (Du Bois ) was born to proud parents Louis and Rosalie, Rose lived an amazing life until January 11 ,2026 when at the age of 103 ,she joined her husband and the rest of her family in heaven. Rose lived an independent life until moving to Country Meadows Care Home in Neepawa just over 1 year before her passing.
Rose and Henry moved from Tenby to Neepawa in 1972 .Rose’s entire life was a testament of love, laughter,and dedication.Rose found enjoyment in everything she did,whether it was working at the Eviscerating plant in Neepawa until it closed,or working at the Neepawa Bus Depot,and Neepawa Post Office.
Rose enjoyed walking,playing a game of Canasta,weekly Bingo. and being a member of the Catholic Women’s League for many years. Rose would take pleasure and pride in walking up the steep hospital hill to the cemetery to visit Henry as many times as possible,and walking to St Dominic’s Catholic Church for mass on Saturday evening.
Rose is survived by her children Reta Freeland,Dianne Campbell,Roseann White (Owen) ,Dan Labuik (Marlene),Rick Labuik (Carolyn),15 grandchildren ,numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many
nieces and nephews.
Rose’s memory will live on through her family, whose lives have been enriched by her unwavering love and support,by sharing their stories and memories of Rose she will never truly be gone, but will live in their hearts and minds forever.
