Victor Lornie Johnny Chegus.
It is with great sadness Victor’s family announces his passing on April 19, 2021 at the age of 52 years at the Brandon Regional Health Centre.
Victor was born in Shoal Lake and at a young age he moved with his family to Dauphin and resided there until his passing.
Victor had a quite a few jobs in his short life. He enjoyed them all as he never quit talking about them and it was a very sad day when he got injured on his and never worked again.
He was an avid sports fan and knew every team and player by name and stats. He was very friendly and he will be missed by his gab as we hardly ever got a word in when we visited by phone or in person.
He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings and there families: brothers; Larry (Jean), Steve (Patricia) and Donnie; sisters; Margaret (Bill), Jean, Millie (Mervin), Marilyn (Grant), Patti, Nadia (Randy) and Shelley (Leo); brother in law Marvin and family, sister in law Diane and family.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers; Terry, Brian, Wally and Leonard; sisters; Anne, Iris, Rose and many nieces and nephews.
A private family funeral will be held at a later date.
A special thank you to the Dauphin Ambulance and Fire Department in your quick and kind assistance to the Dauphin Hospital. A special thank you to the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Doctors and Staff for the wonderful care give to Victor and keeping Shelley informed about his condition. And a special thanks to White’s Funeral Home – Minnedosa for looking after funeral arrangements.
